Welcome to Mrs. Megan and Mrs. Lori's Comprehensive Development Classrooms. We are a classroom of 5th through 8th graders. About Mrs. Megan

Mrs. Megan Mims is in her eighth year teaching. She graduated from Middle Tennessee University in December 2012.  with a degree in Special Education: Comprehensive K-12. She is currently in graduate school studying Educational Leadership. She went to school in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee growing up and is now lives with her husband and daughter, Maisley (4) in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She enjoys shopping, decorating, and spending time with family. She has a passion for teaching Special Education and loves her students!  

About Mrs. Lori

Mrs. Lori Swearingen is in her 10th year teaching.  She graduated from David Lipscomb University in 2009 with a Master's Degree in Special Education: Comprehensive K-12.  She received her undergraduate from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in Exercise Physiology and Athletic Training in 1999.  She grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and now lives with her husband and two children, Hayden (16) and Reese (15) in Cross Plains, TN.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as working in her garden and landscaping.  She is super excited about being back in the CDC classroom with her WHMS kiddos!
